A Couple At Christmas - Decatur, Ga Family Photographer

Our month started off a little crazy. Emergency room visits, Christmas parties, cookie baking, photo booths, deadlines.

But now we're sneaking into that wonderful week before Christmas mode. Our home is nice and quiet, the Christmas tree has a beautiful shimmer to it, and the weather is FINALLY starting to feel more wintry....even if it is a little rainy.

As you can see, Chester's been hard at work making the house look festive. Matt's parents are dropping off their cocker spaniel puppy, Daisy Mae, to spend the holidays with us while they drive up to Pennsylvania to see Matt's grandparents. Chester and Daisy are pretty much bff's.

I think, so far, our favorite day this month has been December 8th. We took the morning to travel out to Kinsley Family Farm to pick out our tree. Even though it started to rain, we had a grand time eating cinnamon sugar pretzels, watching families cut their own trees, and picking out our own. We even got a free Christmas ornament!
