Raleigh Portrait Photographer for Creative Small Businesses

A Little Update

As some of you may know, I used to blog at Home Says Hello, but I've discovered that I really want to merge my love of writing and home life with my photography business, and so the merge has begun.

Eventually, I won't even be blogging here, so you'll really have a lot to keep up with as I make the switch in business & branding to Christina Elyse.

But until that happens, I'll be calling this little space home for now, and I hope you all will continue to keep up with me.

Saturday morning, Matt and I stayed in bed and watched Keeping Up with Appearances while I worked on my website. I love using Squarespace's event calendar as a way to keep track of blog posts, and I'm really excited about the new content I've been creating.

I'll still be blogging about home life, and marriage, and all the things I love about life in Atlanta, but I'm also going to be blogging about creatives, because that's where my photography focus is going to be.

I want to photograph creatives in their environment and help them create visual content for their websites and online storefronts. I want to be a champion for bloggers and makers and creative teachers and writers who need a photo of themselves, or the things they make, that shows them relaxed, natural, and true to who they are.

And I'm really excited to share with you all in the near future, those select few who have trusted me with this from the start.

I'm also excited to share that I'm looking to interview and chat with some creatives over coffee (in person or Skype) about being a creative professional (or aspiring creative professional). I'll share more details soon, but let me know if this is something you'd like to do!

Now that you're all caught up, I can't wait to get this blog rolling again. It's slow, but it's a start.
