The Way We Weekend // September 20-21

With the weather cooling down, Matt and I are eager to get out and about in the city. This weekend we started off with the East Atlanta strut - our neighborhood music and arts festival -and finished it off relaxing on our new basement sectional.

// Breakfast out at Sweet Melissa's in Decatur - I was grouchy. Matt thought it was cute.

// Sampled my own little blend of tea from K-Teas - love the rose petals!

// East Atlanta Strut with friends - loved catching up while they raised money for East Atlanta's Neighbor in Need organization. Want to know more about Neighbor in Need - learn how to get involved in your own city here. 

// A brief lesson in urban chicken keeping - we've known Beth and Jim for over a year and just realized they keep chickens in their back yard. I've been wanting to keep chickens for years - I hope this convinced Matt! :)

// New Sofa for the Basement Den - my fingers are literally bruised from putting on the slipcovers!
